A Little Bit About Me
Salaams All, Where to start?! My name is Nadia and I've been born and brought up in the UK ( a Londonder at heart). My parents and heritage are from South America, Pakistan and Afganistan. I'm 26 years old and have been working as a consultant engineer for the past 2 years. I do enjoy it, but it can be testing at times, as any job can be!

I live at home with my family and have one younger sister, who recently got married. I am constantly striving to be a better muslim and expect the same from my future spouse. I do pray five times a day, give zakah, and fast during ramadan. I have been to Umrah last year and looking forward to going to Hajj inshALLAH when I recieve my invitation. I belive my family and myself are conservative yet modern. I do lead a fully normal life integrated with the rest of society but keep within the boundaries of Islam.

In spare time, I find it important to spend time with family and then friends. I regularly attend islamic courses espcially Al Kauthar ones - next step to get on the student guild inshaALLAH. I am an active memeber of my local sisters circle and try and learn whenever I can - i'e local talks or listening to lectures on cd's However its not all about learning - its also about implementation.

Other hobies include - enjoy watching cooking shows, gardening, going to my gym when I have the chance. And travelling! Absolutely adore travelling and experiencing new cultures.

Due to my family - I would prefer to stay within the London area - this a fundemental point for myself at least for the beginning of marrige inshaALLAH.

I am, along with my family also very involved in bettering our Islamic knowledge and it is a key part of what I would look for in any future spouse. This is fundemental for me - we regularly attend the Al Kauthar courses and inshALLAH I'm now looking to improve by maybe taking some other weekend classes. What I Am Looking For
Allah swt is constantly within my constant mind. I would like to find someone who has a similar relationship with our creator and make Islam their way of life, not just a 'label'. InshALLAH I’m looking for marriage and would like to find someone who just wants to enjoy life, a generous soul who goes with the flow and above all remembers ALLAH and constantly looking to improve. I have recently taken part in the Al Kauthar Love and mercy course - so I'm now even more clearer about what I would like inshALLAH.

I'm 5'7', so looking for a tall brother inshALLAH. I don't mind what job you do and if your educated or not, as long as there is a purpose to your life and whatever money that is made is Halal.

I'm very family orientated and it is essential that my future spouse be of the same nature. Travelling and experiencing new cultures - would ideally like to find someone who shares similar interests, but also open to just finidng about about other hobbies! Always lookng to learn something new! I like to be taught new things!

Ideally after marrige I wouldn't like to work - not to say become a stay at home wife, but I'd like a career change and not to be full time, so that I can focus more on my duties as a wife and eventually a mother inshaALLAH. I think this is very important and for a happy islamic marrige, each has their own gender roles! Not too say I will be in the kitchen alllllllllllllllll the time!!! :)
